Shrii Shrii Anandamurti - Baba
Dada Bishwanath Sing and Indu Mahato, the founding Indian figures of Traditional Healthcare India, have both been intimately inspired by the love and presence of Shhri Shhri Anandamurti (Baba). Anandamurti founded the Ananda Marga in 1955, which is a worldwide organisation dedicated to the physical and spiritual wellbeing of all life.
After 18 year as an Ananda Marga monk Dada Bishwanath Sing was profoundly inspired by Anandamurti’s message and guidance to humanity. With a divine touch Anandamurti took on the role of;
Spiritual guru - Being a yogic / tantric master Anandamurti gave practical guidance on spiritual development and clarity on the path and pitfalls of the journey back to the truth of all things (Paramapurusa).
A healer - Anandamurti described the origins of a large number of diseases and set out remedies by coordinating specific diet / herbal preparations with yogic asanas and mudras.
Socio-economic reformist - Centred around Anandamurti’s theories and principles within his cooperative model of economic democracy (PROUT). PROUT offers a new possibility within the social-economic / political landscape and has been setup and an alternative to communism and the current consumer democracy. The PROUT model has recently caught the imagination of many political, economic, philosophical and scientific thinkers - "Alternative visions are crucial at this moment in history. PROUT’s cooperative model of economic democracy, based on cardinal human values and sharing the resources of the planet for the welfare of everyone, deserves our serious consideration." Noam Chomsky, Libertarian socialist. (https://proutglobe.org/prout/quotes/)
A scientific visionary - Anandamurti was able to give clarity on the origins and mechanisms behind the evolutionary processes of the physical and non-physical universe. His significant scientific contribution being the development of the theories on the Microvita, which describe the forces and interactions on the edge of quantum theory.
A spiritual seer - Anandamurti spoke in detail about the historical development of human civilisation as well as the evolutionary course of linguistics and its significance within the ancient Vadas and Tantric texts of India. He was able to see and describe the personalities of the great historical figures within Indian history (Shiva - Namah Shivaya Shantaya, Krsna - Namami Krsnasundaram, Buddha - Gautama) and their primary impact on the development of society and spiritual significance on the human psyche. His vision also touched upon the unfolding future of humanity, describing the progress and some of the challenging events that lies ahead for us over the next few thousand years.
A poet - In the last few years of his life Anandamurti wrote over 5000 devotional songs.
Social reformer - Within the backdrop of India Anandamurti spoke openly about the importance of equality between males and females for the progress of humanity. He rejected the cast system and all religious dogmas and promoted equality for not only humans but also all living being on the path consciousness.
A radical - Anandamurti redefined some of the ancient principles of morality and spiritual conduct within India, giving an importance not only to ones personal ‘right action’, but also stressing the universal moral obligation we all have to resist and reject that which is immoral within our wider communal experience.
It could be said that Anandamurti has not only inspired Traditional Healthcare, but also offers a living touch within its development.
